AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Department of Children and Families shall initiate a study to determine whether policy and procedural changes within the department may increase the effectiveness of services provided to children within the state. The department shall report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, the findings of such study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to children on or before February 1, 2017.

To study issues affecting children under the care and custody of the Department of Children and Families.
