AN ACT CONCERNING THE CONNECTICUT WORKFORCE ADVANCEMENT GRANTS FOR EDUCATION AND WOMEN IN TRANSITION PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The sum of ____ dollars is appropriated to the Board of Regents for Higher Education from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017, for the administration of the Connecticut Workforce Advancement Grants for Education and Women in Transition programs.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To provide the Connecticut Workforce Advancement Grants for Education and Women in Transition programs with additional resources to assist low-income working parents with college degree attainment.
