AN ACT VALIDATING THE DISPOSITION OF CERTAIN CLAIMS BY THE CLAIMS COMMISSIONER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) Notwithstanding any provision of chapter 53 of the general statutes requiring the Claims Commissioner dispose of any claim (1) within two years after such claim was filed, or (2) prior to the expiration of any extension of time to dispose of such claim stipulated to by the parties to the claim or granted by the General Assembly, any such claim disposed of in accordance with the provisions of section 4-158 of the general statutes, on or after April 4, 2012, but not later than January 1, 2017, shall be deemed to have been so disposed of within the period of time in which the Claims Commissioner is authorized under said chapter 53 to take such action.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
