AN ACT PROHIBITING DISCLOSURE OF DATE OF BIRTH INFORMATION ON VOTER RECORDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Notwithstanding any provision of the general statutes, no record of an elector created, prepared, compiled or maintained by, or filed with, the registrars of voters of any municipality may be disclosed to any member of the public or to any public agency, as defined in section 1-200 of the general statutes, unless such elector's date of birth on such record is redacted.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit disclosure to the public or to any public agency of an elector's date of birth contained on any record of the registrars of voters in a municipality.
