AN ACT CONCERNING CONNECTICUT'S MANUFACTURING AND TECHNOLOGY WORKFORCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Board of Regents for Higher Education shall study issues concerning Connecticut's manufacturing and technology workforce. Not later than January 1, 2017, the president of the Board of Regents for Higher Education shall report on such study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to higher education and employment advancement in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To require a study of issues concerning Connecticut's manufacturing and technology workforce.
