AN ACT REPEALING THE LUXURY TAX.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 219 of the general statutes be amended to repeal the higher sales and use tax rates for certain consumer goods. 

Statement of Purpose: 

To repeal the "luxury tax" by eliminating the higher sales and use tax rates for certain consumer goods.
