AN ACT CONCERNING A CAPITOL MEMORIAL FOR WORLD WAR II MERCHANT MARINES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The sum of two thousand dollars is appropriated to the Department of Veterans' Affairs, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017, for the establishment of a memorial to honor the members of the Merchant Marine of the United States during the Second World War, and for the placing of such memorial in a suitable location on the State Capitol grounds.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
