AN ACT CONCERNING TEACHER PREPARATION PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) Not later than December 31, 2016, the Department of Education and the Office of Higher Education shall enter into an agreement with the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation for the purposes of accrediting and establishing standards for teacher preparation programs offered at public institutions of higher education in the state.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
