AN ACT CONCERNING A MORATORIUM ON SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 173 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the General Assembly from authorizing new school building projects until the existing funding formula for state reimbursement of school building projects is repealed and replaced with a new formula.
Statement of Purpose:
To impose a moratorium on new school building projects until a new funding formula can be developed.
