AN ACT PROHIBITING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH FROM CONSOLIDATING THE DISTRICT DEPARTMENTS OF HEALTH AND MUNICIPAL HEALTH AUTHORITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Department of Public Health from requiring the consolidation of the district departments of health and municipal health authorities.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow for the existing health district structure to be maintained.
