AN ACT CONCERNING LIMITATIONS ON THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIAL MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR'S LICENSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 14-36m of the general statutes be amended to (1) require a national criminal history records check prior to issuance of a special motor vehicle operator's license, and (2) prohibit any person convicted of a felony from obtaining such license.
Statement of Purpose:
To require a national criminal background check prior to issuance of a drive-only license, and to prohibit any person convicted of a felony from obtaining such license.
