AN ACT ELIMINATING WAIVERS FROM WORK REQUIREMENTS FOR SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE FOR NON-EXEMPT, ABLE-BODIED ADULTS WITHOUT DEPENDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-105a of the general statutes be amended to require all able-bodied adults without dependents to meet federal work requirements for the supplemental nutrition assistance program unless they are exempted under 7 CFR 273.7.
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate waivers from work requirements for the supplemental nutrition assistance program for able-bodied adults without dependents not exempt under federal law.
