AN ACT LIMITING COST-OF-LIVING INCREASES TO STATE EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT PAYMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to limit cost-of-living increases to state employee retirement payments to no more than the rate of increase of any Social Security cost-of-living adjustment in effect.
Statement of Purpose:
To require cost-of-living increases to state employee pension payments to mirror those of Social Security.
