AN ACT REDUCING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND IN-SERVICE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS ON EDUCATORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapters 166 and 170 of the general statutes be amended to limit the amount and nature of professional development and in-service training for teachers and school personnel by requiring such teachers and school personnel to complete only such professional development and in-service training that is related to the students with whom such teachers or school personnel have direct contact.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the amount of training required for certain teachers and school personnel.
