AN ACT CONCERNING SITING COUNCIL PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 227a of the general statutes be amended to require the Siting Council to hold a public information session when construction of a project has not begun within three years of the Siting Council issuing a certificate of environmental compatibility and public need or determining no such certificate was necessary for such project.
Statement of Purpose:
To keep the public updated on the status of projects.
