AN ACT CONCERNING HOMICIDE IN THE CASE OF A DRUG OVERDOSE DEATH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 53a of the general statutes be amended to provide that any person who sells drugs to a person who dies from an overdose resulting from the use of such drugs shall be held liable for homicide.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a new crime for homicide in the case of a drug overdose.
