AN ACT REQUIRING THE USE OF NATURAL ALTERNATIVES TO MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE FOR MELTING ICE ON STATE HIGHWAYS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the state to phase in, over a five-year period, the use of natural alternatives to magnesium chloride for the purpose of melting ice on state highways.
Statement of Purpose:
To require natural alternatives to be used for melting ice on state highways.
