AN ACT CONCERNING THE LEGISLATIVE TRANSPORTATION ALLOWANCE AND PENSION CALCULATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 66 of the general statutes be amended to exclude the transportation allowance received by legislators from the calculations of base salary for purposes of determining legislators' retirement income.
Statement of Purpose:
To remove mileage reimbursement from legislator pension calculations.
