AN ACT CONCERNING THE REDUCTION OF DUPLICATIVE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS ON SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to (1) combine any reporting requirements on local and regional boards of education that are similar or duplicative, and (2) require the Department of Education to develop, within available appropriations and resources, a database that will allow boards of education to communicate with one another.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce similar or duplicative reporting requirements on school districts.
