AN ACT CONCERNING STORMWATER PERMIT REQUIREMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection from issuing stormwater permits that require standards that are more strict than the requirements established by the Environmental Protection Agency.
Statement of Purpose:
To restrict standards for state-issued stormwater permits to the standards established by the federal government.
