AN ACT CONCERNING SUBMISSION OF CERTAIN DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE PLANS TO THE WEST ROCK RIDGE STATE PARK ADVISORY COUNCIL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That special act 75-80 be amended to provide that before the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection, or the commissioner's designee, takes any action concerning, affecting or otherwise altering the boundaries of, the development or maintenance plan for, or the active or passive recreational uses of, the West Rock Ridge conservation area, including, but not limited to, the removal, planting, pruning or altering of any trees, shrubs or other wildlife in the area, the commissioner, or such designee, shall submit plans for such proposed action to the West Rock Ridge State Park Advisory Council for review and approval.
Statement of Purpose:
To clarify the oversight responsibilities of the West Rock Ridge State Park Advisory Council.
