AN ACT CONCERNING THE APPLICATION OF ACCELERATED REHABILITATION FOR CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN OR THE ELDERLY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit a defendant from using accelerated rehabilitation for crimes committed against children or the elderly.

Statement of Purpose: 

To limit the application of accelerated rehabilitation.
