AN ACT CONCERNING CERTAIN VETERANS DISCHARGED DUE TO POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER OR TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 27 of the general statutes be amended to qualify any veteran who was discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable from active service in the armed forces as a result of a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder or traumatic brain injury as eligible to receive state veterans' benefits.

Statement of Purpose: 

To expand eligibility of veterans' benefits to certain veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder or traumatic brain injury.
