AN ACT EXPANDING PROTECTION FROM DISCRIMINATION TO CERTAIN STUDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-15c of the general statutes be amended to (1) include mental disability or physical disability to the provision prohibiting discrimination, and (2) extend application of said section to children under five years of age who are receiving special education and related services pursuant to chapter 164 of the general statutes.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect students from discrimination in public schools.
