AN ACT PROHIBITING PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION FROM ESTABLISHING DORMITORIES OR FACILITIES THAT ARE SEGREGATED BY RACE OR NATIONAL ORIGIN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit any public institution of higher education from establishing a dormitory or other facility that is segregated by race or national origin.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit public institutions of higher education from establishing dormitories or other facilities that are segregated by race or national origin.
