AN ACT CONCERNING COLLEGE TUITION INCREASES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit tuition at any public institution of higher education from increasing by more than five per cent of the tuition at such institution for the preceding academic year.
Statement of Purpose:
To help make obtaining a college education more affordable in Connecticut.
