AN ACT REQUIRING CLERKS OF THE COURT TO PROVIDE NOTICE OF PROTECTIVE ORDERS TO SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 46b-15 of the general statutes be amended to require the clerk of the court to notify a school system of the existence of a protective order that relates to a student enrolled at the school or the parent or legal guardian of such student.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that the clerk of the court notifies a school system of the existence of a protective order that has been issued relating to a student enrolled at the school or the parent or legal guardian of such student.
