AN ACT REQUIRING THE INSTALLMENT OF VIDEO CAMERAS IN THE ROOMS OF NONVERBAL NURSING HOME RESIDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to require nursing homes to install video cameras in the rooms of nonverbal residents to ensure their safety.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure the safety of nonverbal nursing home residents by requiring nursing homes to install video cameras in the rooms of such residents.
