AN ACT CONCERNING THE CREATION OF GENERAL EDUCATION COURSES TO ALLOW FOR THE TRANSFER OF CREDITS BETWEEN PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to require the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities and The University of Connecticut to create a set of general education courses that allow students to transfer credits between such public institutions of higher education.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow students to efficiently transfer credits between public institutions of higher education in a cost-effective manner.
