AN ACT CONCERNING THREATENING OF A JUDGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sections 53a-61aa and 53a-62 of the general statutes be amended to provide for increased penalties when a person making a threat knows that the person being threatened is a judge.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the penalties for first and second degree threatening in cases where the person making the threat knows that a person being threatened is a judge.
