AN ACT REQUIRING LEGISLATIVE APPROVAL TO INCREASE RAIL OR BUS FARE OR REDUCE ANY TRANSIT SUBSIDY PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the approval of each chamber of the General Assembly to increase rail or bus fare or reduce any transit subsidy program.
Statement of Purpose:
To require legislative approval in order to increase rail or bus fare or reduce any transit subsidy program.
