AN ACT CONCERNING TRANSPARENCY IN MUNICIPAL AID FUNDING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the General Assembly from adopting any state budget bill that does not clearly delineate any reduction to municipal aid proposed in such bill.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit undesignated cuts to municipal aid grants and to increase transparency in municipal aid funding.
