AN ACT CONCERNING INSTALLATION FEES CHARGED BY CABLE COMPANIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 289 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit cable companies from charging more than fifty dollars for any installation fee for residential or business customers relating to new or existing accounts.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit cable companies from charging more than fifty dollars for installation fees.
