AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTRONIC VISIT VERIFICATION FOR HOME CARE PROVIDERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Department of Social Services from mandating the use of a universal electronic visit verification system for home care providers who already have a system in place to verify visits by home care workers.
Statement of Purpose:
To avoid unnecessary duplication and burdensome state regulation in the provision of home care services.
