AN ACT CONCERNING PROFESSIONAL AND BUSINESS LICENSES AND PROPERTY TAXES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require individuals applying for or renewing professional or business licenses to demonstrate that they are not delinquent on their property tax obligations.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect municipalities from losses due to delinquent property taxpayers.
