AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF STATE FUNDS APPROPRIATED FOR THE FREEDOM SCHOONER AMISTAD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
To amend the general statutes to require that a portion of any future appropriations of state funds for the Freedom Schooner Amistad be allocated to Connecticut small businesses that were not paid for goods and services provided to Amistad America, Inc.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide reimbursement for Connecticut small businesses that were not paid for goods and services provided to Amistad America, Inc.
