AN ACT REQUIRING PERSONS WHO OPERATE KAYAKS OR CANOES TO WEAR LIFE VESTS AND POSSESS AN ALERT DEVICE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that any person who operates a kayak or canoe wear a life vest and possess an alert device.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure the safety of kayakers and canoeists.
