AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TAX CREDIT FOR FOOD DONATED BY FARMERS TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to establish a tax credit for food donated by farmers to charitable organizations.
Statement of Purpose:
To assist farmers who donate food to charitable organizations by establishing a tax credit for such donation.
