AN ACT CONCERNING A BLOOD TEST FOR PERSONS DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MARIJUANA.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 248 of the general statutes be amended to establish a blood test procedure to be utilized to determine whether a person suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is under the influence of marijuana.

Statement of Purpose: 

To allow for the effective prosecution of persons driving while under the influence of marijuana.
