AN ACT CONCERNING EFFECTUATION OF QUITCLAIM DEEDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 47-36b of the general statutes be amended to provide that real property may not be conveyed by quitclaim deed unless both the grantor and the grantee, or their respective attorneys, are present at the time the quitclaim deed is executed.
Statement of Purpose:
To require both the grantor and grantee, or their respective attorneys, to be present at the time a quitclaim deed is executed.
