AN ACT PROHIBITING THE USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 8 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the state and municipalities from exercising the use of eminent domain for commercial purposes.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the state and municipalities from exercising the use of eminent domain for commercial purposes.
