AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEFINITION OF RESIDENTIAL REAL PROPERTY FOR PURPOSES OF MAINTENANCE OF PRIVATE EASEMENTS OR RIGHTS-OF-WAY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subdivision (1) of subsection (a) of section 47-42f of the general statutes be amended to state that residential real property has the same meaning as provided in section 20-235c of the general statutes, but does not include property owned by the state or any political subdivision thereof, including districts established pursuant to sections 7-324 to 7-329, inclusive, of the general statutes.
Statement of Purpose:
To clarify the definition of residential real property for purposes of maintaining private easements or rights-of-way.
