AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF PSYCHIATRIC CARE BEDS TO BE USED FOR PATIENTS RECOVERING FROM HEALTH CONCERNS RELATED TO OPIOID ABUSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit the use of hospitals' psychiatric care beds for patients recovering from health problems related to opioid abuse.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the number of available beds across the state for opioid abuse-related recovery.
