AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SERVICES AND PUBLIC PROTECTION TO COMBAT DISTRACTED DRIVING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sufficient funds be appropriated to the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, to allow members of the Division of State Police and municipal police departments to enforce distracted driving laws.
Statement of Purpose:
To appropriate funds to the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection to combat distracted driving.
