AN ACT ELIMINATING REIMBURSEMENTS TO LEGISLATORS FOR MILEAGE FROM THE CALCULATION OF RETIREMENT INCOME.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 66 of the general statutes be amended to exclude reimbursements received by legislators for mileage from the calculations of base salary for purposes of determining legislators' retirement income.
Statement of Purpose:
To remove mileage reimbursements from being calculated in pension benefits for legislators.
