AN ACT CONCERNING THE SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT AT WETHERSFIELD HIGH SCHOOL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (d) of section 10-286 of the general statutes or any regulation adopted by the State Board of Education or the Department of Administrative Services pursuant to said section 10-286 requiring all change orders or other change directives issued on or after July 1, 2008, to be submitted not later than six months after the date of such issuance, the town of Wethersfield may submit change orders issued after such six-month time limit for the project at Wethersfield High School (Project Numbers 159-0100 RNV/E and 159-0102 BE/A/RNV) for reimbursement of eligible costs from the state, provided change orders are submitted on or before January 1, 2018, and have been reviewed and approved by the Department of Administrative Services.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that project change orders are reimbursed in accordance with the guidelines that were in effect when the project was initiated.
