AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN INCENTIVES PROGRAM FOR YOUNG PROFESSIONALS TO REMAIN IN THE STATE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to establish an incentives program for young professionals to remain in the state, including, but not limited to, a tax deduction against the personal income tax for rental or mortgage payments made by recent graduates of institutions of higher education in the state.

Statement of Purpose: 

To establish an incentives program for young professionals to remain in the state.
