AN ACT CONCERNING INCREASING OPEN-CAPTIONED FILM SCREENINGS FOR THE HEARING IMPAIRED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require movie theaters doing business in the state to increase the number of film screenings with open captioning to provide increased access to hearing-impaired persons.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase access to movie theaters for hearing-impaired persons.
