AN ACT CONCERNING AGE DISCRIMINATION IN HIRING PRACTICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit employers from inquiring about a prospective employee's date of birth on an initial employment application.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the incidence of age discrimination in hiring practices.
