AN ACT REQUIRING RECIPIENTS OF UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION TO VERIFY THEY ARE SEEKING EMPLOYMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 567 of the general statutes be amended to require recipients of unemployment compensation to verify that they are actively seeking employment.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce fraud by requiring recipients of unemployment compensation to verify they are actively seeking employment opportunities.
